This recently completed luxury villa is located in Colina Flora Hilltop complex in Puerto Galera Oriental Mindoro. Puerto Galera has been nominated as one of the 10 most beautiful bays in the world & has a thriving Yacht Club,a challenging golf course & some of the best diving in the Philippines.

A large terra cotta tiled terrace surrounds it and also acts as main courtyard for first level.

GENERAL LOCAL INFORMATION.....

Puerto Galera is at the northern end of the island of Oriental Mindoro (Google Earth13.28.25 N 120.57.50E).

From Manila Airport, it is a 2.5 hour drive to the  Port of Batangas & a 1.5 hour ferry ride to Puerto Galera.

Puerto Galera is a quaint old world town with several good restaurants located on Muelle pier – Sharkeys, Habour point, Cocoa Point 10 minutes from the house.

Sabang, 30 minutes away has a great selection of restaurants & night life.

There are several good swimming beaches nearby – Bouquette 15 minutes by car, with Sandbar Resort providing refreshments & food.

There is a 9 hole golf course at Ponderosa built on a mountain side, 30 minutes drive from the house. It is very challenging.& difficult course. Clubs, a round & a caddy cost approximately $20.

The PUERTO GALERA YACHT CLUB (www.pgyc.org) has an excellent restaurant and provides sailing courses with a fleet of  dinghies and a qualified instructor. The dinghies are also for hire to qualified sailors. Join them for the Grand Friday Night Barbeque, to play pool or try Petanke (Boules) on the only custom-built court on the island.  It is a fun place – full of ex-pats.

The area is well known for its excellent dentists – a crown costs about $ 100. Therefore,if you require extensive work, you can pay for your trip with a visit!!!

For those who care to imbibe, Tanduay rum is $1 & Gordons Gin $3 a litre, San Miguel beer $0.75 a can.
